THE BBC’s new drama Chloe kicked off tonight with a full-on sex scene in the first ten minutes.
The show, created by Sex Education writer Alice Seabright, stars Erin Doherty, who plays the young Princess Anne in The Crown.
Her character Becky ends up getting caught in a web of lies after becoming obsessed with a woman called Chloe on social media.
As the drama began last night she met an American man called Josh, played by Brandon Michael Hall, at an event.
But the action quickly switched to the bedroom as the pair got between the sheets.
Before the show had even got going viewers were shown them getting steamy, with one viewer tweeting: “Crikey! Already.”
Another joked: “Glad I watched that scene with my mum in the room
” while a third wrote: “Er…..?!”
When they’re finished Becky refuses Josh’s advances saying: “I’m all good. I’m sorted. Thanks.”
The dark new drama got a warm reception from viewers, who saw her become fixated with the rich and successful Chloe.
Keen to be part of her picture-perfect life she poses as her boss’ wife before running into Josh.
But things take an event more sinister turn when it emerged the woman she is so obsessed by has died.
We later see her engineer a ‘chance’ meeting with Chloe’s best friend Livia, played by Death in Paradise star Pippa Bennett-Warner.
The six-parter began on Sunday night and will continue on Monday at 9pm as well as being available on the BBC iPlayer.
