Yet Frank Butcher’s daughter’s troublesome streak doesn’t fade, as she continues to try to attract Mick.

She tells Zack that Mick’s daughter Nancy still likes him and he should ask him back out – despite Mick battering Zack in a recent fight.

Nancy is left furious but worse is to come when Janine’s mind is set whirring after realising Mick’s desperate desire to contact Linda.

He announces he is bringing his family together and Stuart helps him to plan the perfect family party.

Billy mentions Linda’s battle with booze which adds to warped Janine’s inspiration.

When Linda is a no-show at the doo, Mick is forced to explain the reality to Nancy.

His daughter then takes delight in sending Janine packing – but things take a dark twist when Janine’s plan is revealed.

After taking a trip with Zack to try to sort their relationship once and for all, Nancy leaves Mick with an ultimatum on New Year’s Eve.

Will he side with his family, or Janine?

SOAP COMEBACK

Janine returned to EastEnders this year – with soap bosses vowing “she’s changed.”

The villain was most famous for pushing her husband Barry off a cliff.

As well as killing Barry while on honeymoon in the Scottish Highlands, Janine also murdered fourth husband Michael Moon.

She tried to bump off second husband Ryan Malloy, fatally ran over Ronnie Mitchell’s long-lost daughter Danielle, attempted to defraud the Mitchell family and framed arch-nemesis Stacey Slater for attempted murder.

Executive producer Jon Sen and showrunner Kate Oates wanted to bring Janine back for some time, and at the time said they were looking forward to seeing the character lock horns with some “fresh meat”, as many of Walford’s current inhabitants had yet to cross her prior to her explosive arrival.
