‘I wouldn’t judge anyone for doing it’, Jorgie Porter on Hollyoaks axing Sarah Jayne Dunn over racy OnlyFans pics

HOLLYOAKS star Jorgie Porter has opened up on all things empowerment and reveals she wouldn’t judge anyone for doing OnlyFans.

During her Hollyoaks heyday, Jorgie reigned as the queen of lads’ mag photo shoots – something she previously described as “empowering”.

Earlier this month, fellow Hollyoaks actress, Sarah Jayne Dunn, 40, was dropped from the show after refusing to remove “sexier, racier” photos from her OnlyFans subscription site.

A row broke out after Hollyoaks higher-ups warned the mum over the racy pics – telling her to be mindful of her conduct.

The content, said a spokesperson, was not in line with the soap’s young target audience.

Speaking about her former co-star, Jorgie said: “I think it’s an individual’s choice and I wouldn’t judge anyone for doing it.

“However, I understand Hollyoaks’ decision and I think it’s about respecting that.”

Sarah Jayne insisted the snaps she put up on OnlyFans were exactly the same type of content that she had previously been sharing to her Instagram and Twitter accounts.

She told BBC R4’s Woman’s Hour: “All I’ve done is move the lingerie and bikini shoots that I have done all my career, I’ve just moved those images onto a subscription platform now.”

The mum-of-one said she “wasn’t aware” the account could cause issues with Hollyoaks, adding: “All I’ve done is move my content from one platform to another.”

Speaking of her own experience, Jorgie said: “I’m comfortable with my body and will post a sexy picture in my underwear on my socials.

“I’ve always felt in control of shoots and never been asked to do anything I’m not comfortable with, so I get the empowerment argument and agree with it being a woman’s choice.

“That said, the world is changing and I worry about how my images have been used online.

“In a world where anyone can access anything, any time, and it’s there forever, it needs more consideration.”
