The couple have barely been spotted out and about since their move to Montecito, California

It is understood the couple have never visited their two nearest coffee shops

The couple bought a nine-bedroom, 16-bathroom mansion for $14.65 million

According to The Times, hardly anyone has seen Meghan, 39, and Harry, 36, and their son Archie in the area.

During the couple’s bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey last weekend, Harry revealed that the family take trips to the beach and go for bike rides with Archie in the local area.

But it is understood the couple have never visited their two nearest coffee shops, the local supermarket, or the baby clothes boutique a few minutes from their house.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have definitely visited Lucky’s – a steakhouse on the main high street – as the couple were photographed with pals in October last year.

Despite the community talking “endlessly” about the Sussexes, the couple appear to have been keeping a low profile.

It comes as an estate agent estimated that the house Meghan and Harry purchased might now be worth almost three times what they paid, The Times reports.

The couple bought the nine-bedroom, 16-bathroom mansion for $14.65 million (£10 million) last June and according to the deeds, they took out a $9.5 million mortgage.

The property market in Montecito has gone ‘crazy’ since the couple bought the mansion

Since moving in last July, Meghan and Harry have treated fans to a glimpse of their living room on several occasions.

Randy Solakian, an estate agent with Coldwell Banker Global Luxury, said the property includes a gym, spa, cinema, tennis court, pool and children’s play area.

And the property market in Montecito has gone “crazy” since the couple bought the mansion, Sandy Stahl, an agent with Sotheby’s International Realty, told The Times.

After Prince Harry moaned to Oprah that he had been financially “cut off” by his family, a woman has started a fundraising page to pay for the couple’s mortgage.

He complained he had to dip into late mum Princess Diana’s huge inheritance during the first quarter of 2020, as he was shunned following Megxit.

But despite Harry and wife Meghan’s subsequent mega-deals with Netflix and Spotify – worth more than £100million – his whining to the chat show queen has moved one woman to act.

Anastasia Hanson, 56, set up the ‘Harry and Meghan $5 Donation to Buy Home’ on website GoFundMe two days after the Sussex’s sit-down with Oprah.

She wants to raise the giant figure of £7.1 million to pay off Harry’s mortgage – but has collected just £78.64 so far.

During the interview with Oprah, which has sent shockwaves throughout Buckingham Palace and the world, Meghan claimed that Archie wasn’t made a prince after “concerns and conversations” about “how dark” his skin would be when he was born.

Meghan also revealed she told Harry she begged the Firm for mental health support – but was denied help as it “wouldn’t be good for the institution”.
