MEGHAN Markle is “ambitious”, “ruthless” and has an “ability to make people afraid” claims biographer Tom Bower.
The author, whose royal book Revenge has been released today, made the bold statements on This Morning.
Meghan Markle is ‘ambitious’ and ‘ruthless’, according to royal biographer Tom Bower
Biographer Tom made his claims on This Morning today
Speaking to hosts Ben Shepherd and Charlotte Hawkins, Tom revealed today that he spoke to nearly 80 people to create his unauthorised biography.
He revealed his personal views of Meghan after hearing from so many accounts, and said: “Overall I came across with the impression of a woman who is very intelligent, very determined, very ambitious, but also ruthless – and in the end, in her terms ‘successful’.
“The reader will have to make up their minds about whether she’s good or bad.”
Tom told the hosts that he spoke to some people who offered up less than rosy views of Meghan, and said: “There were two agents who told horrible stories about her bullying and her oppression, and that was an eye opener.”

He spoke of Vanity Fair journalist Sam Kashner, who was “appalled by the nature of Meghan” during their two-hour chat.
Sam later retracted denied comments after they were written up by Tom.
The biographer claimed: “That just shows the power of Meghan.
“On the 30th May I read to him all his quotations and most of the chapter of the book and he approved of it without comment.
“Meghan has got an ability to make people feel fearful, the truth is what I wrote was exactly what he told me, and was a horrendous story, he was absolutely appalled by the nature of Meghan.
“When he saw it in black and white he was fearful for his own profession.
“I stand by what I wrote and what he told me.”
Tom also revealed he spoke to Meghan’s estranged father, Thomas Markle, during a two-day trip to Mexico and said he “opened up quite incredibly.”

Host Ben argued that Meghan was famous in her own right before marrying Harry, and said: “She was a very famous actress and she had a high profile in Hollywood and Suits was streamed all over the world, so people knew who she was.”
Tom said: “I disagree with you.”
He claimed that when Meghan landed a Vanity Fair cover in 2017, the magazine hadn’t even heard of Meghan before she met Prince Harry.
He continued: “She always said to her dad she wanted to be famous, she wanted to walk down the red carpet and by marrying Harry she achieved exactly that ambition.”
However, he did add: “I have admiration for Meghan, she has succeeded quite well in her life and ambitions.”
The controversial biographer also spoke about Meghan and Harry’s exit from royal duties and relocation to California.
Tom said: “They [the royal family] tried very hard to accommodate her and I think what she then said in the Oprah Winfrey interview was absolutely wrong and outrageous.
“She said she was not welcomed, we just remember the wedding and all the rest of it.
“She was very welcomed and people were very excited.
“It went wrong.
“Why it went wrong is explained in my book, I think it’s both sides to blame.
“I think on the whole, the blame lies more with Meghan who didn’t understand the monarchy and didn’t understand she couldn’t be number one.
“There is only one number one in the monarchy and she didn’t understand hierarchy.
“She thought the monarchy was Hollywood, was all about celebrity, it was about hard work without little reward and she didn’t like that.”
