Meghan's Touching Tribute
MEGHAN Markle has released unseen family footage in a tribute to her beloved dog. A compilation video shared by the Duchess of Sussex on Instagram in memory of Guy the beagle includes never-before-seen clips of her kids Archie and Lilibet singing "we love you."
Adoption and Recovery Story
The duchess adopted the beagle in 2015 from a rescue shelter in Canada where he was referred to as "the little guy" due to his tiny size and frail condition. Meghan explained how Guy had a "terrible accident" shortly before she moved to the UK and doctors said he would never walk again. Despite this, after several months of recovery, Guy quickly stole the show at Kensington Palace.
Meghan's Emotional Message
In a touching post, Meghan said, "Thank you for so many years of unconditional love, my sweet Guy. You filled my life in ways you’ll never know." She also mentioned, "I have cried too many tears to count."
Guy's Fame
Guy even "wrote" his own book about his "rags to riches" tale which hit shops in November 2018. The photos and videos shared by Meghan also feature Prince Harry on walks with Guy and Archie and Lilibet on a picnic with the late pet.
