PRINCE Andrew delayed a family holiday to party with Jeffrey Epstein on the paedophile’s island while his sex accuser was there, it is claimed.
New reports claim the Duke of York pushed back a trip to the Bahamas with daughters Beatrice and Eugenie – then aged 12 and 11 – in the week following Easter Sunday 2001.
Instead, it’s claimed, he followed Epstein to Little St James, the tycoon’s private island 1,000 miles to the south-east.
Accompanied by his senior police Personal Protection Officer (PPO), he enjoyed a weekend of partying – while accuser Miss Roberts was also there, the Daily Mail reports..
It’s claimed:
- Prince Andrew was three days late for a family holiday in the Bahamas – because he was partying with paedo Epstein on a private island
- His accuser Virginia Roberts was also there, according to flight records
- The royal stayed at Epstein’s plush NY pad days before the trip – despite explicitly telling Emily Maitlis that he hadn’t during a Newsnight interview in November 2019
- While in New York, he carved out hours of private time, it’s claimed
- Days ago, it was reported that Princess Beatrice has “no recollection” of the Pizza Express birthday party Andrew used as his ‘alibi’ for one of the occasions he was alleged to have slept with a teen
He made the trip days after staying at Epstein’s New York mansion, the paper claims. The royal previously denied staying at the plush pad during his car-crash 2019 Newsnight interview.
But it’s alleged he spent a night there – with three hours of ‘private time’ scheduled in during his trip to the city.
The prince is accused of having sex with Miss Roberts during the New York visit.
He vehemently denies any wrongdoing.
The publication claims flight logs show Epstein, his then-girlfriend Ghislaine Maxwell, Miss Roberts and another young female ‘masseuse’ Andrew had allegedly just met flew to the island ahead of the Duke.
While they travelled, Andrew reportedly tore up long-standing official travel arrangements involving Buckingham Palace, the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and the Metropolitan Police to delay his family holiday in the Bahamas.
He then flew out himself, it’s said.
Miss Roberts has alleged that the third time she and the Duke had sex was during an orgy on Little St James later that year.
While on Little St James at Easter 2001, sources told the paper, the Duke flirted with financier Gwendolyn Beck, now 62.
Ms Beck allegedly told a New York-based journalist in 2015, in previously unpublished email correspondence: “The Prince was always charming, polite and a gentleman to me. Just can’t imagine this is an accurate story, after all prostitution is illegal in the U.S.
“If I hadn’t been in love at the time, I certainly would have given the Prince my number.”
In another email, she reportedly said: “I can’t imagine the allegations regarding Prince Andrew are true.”
His PPO, who kept a daily diary, also claims to have seen nothing which gave him cause for concern about his principal’s conduct on the island, the Mail understands.
According to sources, the policeman who was at Andrew’s side for 15 years says he does not recall ever having seen Miss Roberts, it’s reported.
Andrew and his PPO finally met up with the Duke’s family on Easter Sunday, April 15, almost three days after they were supposed to have arrived there, the paper claims.
Miss Roberts claims she was trafficked by Epstein to have sex with the duke on three occasions in 2001.
One of those alleged occasions includes a time in New York in around Easter that year, when she was 17, she claims.
The royal says he cannot even recall meeting her, despite the pair being apparently pictured together at Miss Maxwell’s London home on March 10, 2001.
Tonight’s claims follow allegations that his “alibi” for one of the nights he is claimed to have spent with Miss Roberts has been blown apart.
