Prince Harry must be questioned over drug use, says think-tank

Immigration enforcement

Prince Harry must be questioned over his drug use next time he crosses the US border, a think-tank says. The Heritage Foundation insists he should be challenged to get to the bottom of whether he lied on his visa application.

Court battle

The Heritage Foundation won a court battle to get some of the papers released, but is fighting on as they were heavily redacted. The organisation's Nile Gardiner emphasized the importance of questioning Harry upon his return to the US.

Illegal substances

According to Heritage, the files could provide evidence that Harry falsely answered 'no' when asked on his visa application if he had taken drugs. In his book, he admitted to using cocaine, marijuana, and psychedelics.

New immigration era

Heritage's Gardiner stated, "This is a new era of immigration enforcement in the US and the rules are being strictly enforced by the new US administration." The think-tank urges for strict questioning when it comes to drug use.
