Prince Harry reunites with Meghan and kids in LA
Prince Harry has landed back in Los Angeles after a brief 26-hour trip to the UK to visit his father, King Charles, who was recently diagnosed with cancer. The Duke of Sussex, 39, was seen smiling as he began his return journey to California, where he was reunited with his wife Meghan and their children.
Brief reunion with Charles
During his visit, Prince Harry had a brief reunion with his father at Clarence House. The meeting, their first in 16 months, lasted around half an hour. Charles looked happy with the reunion, and the Duke of Sussex and his entourage left shortly after their meeting.
William's gala speech
Prince William publicly acknowledged his father's health shock at a fundraising gala in London. He cracked a joke about "getting away from it all" during a speech at a fundraiser for the London Air Ambulance Charity. William also thanked the attendees for their well-wishes and took the opportunity to mention his fellow pilot, Tom Cruise.
William and Camilla to share royal duties
With King Charles undergoing treatment, Prince William and Camilla are expected to share the weight of the royal duties and engagements. However, William remains focused on looking after his family and will not be returning to full-time duties just yet. Kate, on the other hand, is continuing her recovery and is unlikely to carry out frontline duties until after Easter.
Working members of the Royal Family are continuing with public engagements in the absence of the King.
