PRINCE Harry spoke Māori as he teased a major announcement, with all set to be revealed tonight.
The royal, who will return to the UK for the Queen’s Jubilee celebrations, is due to reveal details of the project in New Zealand during an exclusive interview.
In a clip posted on Twitter, he said he’ll share more information later about his “new kaupapa”. Kaupapa is the Māori word for work.
Currently, no more is known about the prince’s announcement, although it has reportedly been inspired by Kaitiakitanga -“guardianship and protection”.
Harry visited New Zealand in 2015, when he learned the Haka in just 20 minutes and recited a speech in Māori.
He returned with Meghan Markle in 2018, and the pair discussed moving there permanently more than a year before stepping back from the royal frontline.

Former governor-general Dame Patsy Reddy, the Queen’s representative in the country, said the couple told her they “could imagine living in a place like this”.
They also wondered aloud if it was “theoretically possible”, she said.
“They were looking at how they might raise their family,” she said.
“I remember they’d just been down to the Abel Tasman National Park when we sat down and had a drink.
“They said that they could imagine living in a place like this and wondered whether we thought it would be theoretically possible. Even possible for them to have a place in New Zealand.
“Of course, we said, ‘Sure. It would be fine’.”
Harry’s announcement comes amid yet another busy few weeks for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
As the month began, Meghan’s upcoming Netflix series was quietly dumped.
Pearl – which followed the story of a 12-year-old girl exploring famous women in history – was set to be the streaming giant’s first animated series.
HARRY’S ANNOUNCEMENT
But it was binned as part of cutbacks amid a collapse in subscribers, Deadline reported.
Meanwhile, it’s claimed their multi-million pound mega-deal with Netflix is at risk after they pitched “boring” ideas.
An industry source said: “The pressure will be on them to come up with a hit.”
Days later, the Sussexes celebrated Archie’s third birthday – and announced they will be returning to the UK as a family for the Jubilee.
TOUGH WEEK FOR SUSSEXES
However, The Celeb Report exclusively revealed only working royals will be allowed to greet the crowds from the balcony – meaning the couple and Prince Andrew are banned.
The family’s trip will mean baby Lilibet can meet the Queen and Charles for the first time.
It was then reported that Harry had irritated Netflix chiefs by giving an exclusive interview to rivals at NBC.
Insiders said there was a “real sense of annoyance” when he told reporters at the Invictus Games that he wants to “protect” the Queen by ensuring she has the “right people” around her.

It’s little wonder Harry has chosen to relax by joining the Santa Barbara Polo Club.
The athletic royal joined team Los Padres, headed up by his close friend Nacho Figueras, and has been seen making the most of the sunshine on horseback.
