HARRY spoke for the first time yesterday about his and wife Meghan’s secret meeting with the Queen last week — saying “it was great to see her”.
It was the first time Meghan, 40, and Harry, 37, had met Her Majesty in two years when they had a hush-hush stopover on their way to the Invictus Games on Thursday.
The Celeb Report revealed that Harry instigated the “clear the air talks” to meet Charles and Camilla before sitting down with the Queen.
It was the first time Harry and Meghan have seen the royals together since they quit royal duty to live in California.
In an interview screened last night, Harry said of the Queen: “It was great to see her and I’m sure she would love to be here if she could.”
The Duke of Sussex was being interviewed by presenter Alex Jones and Harry’s pal, ex-Royal Marine JJ Chalmers for the BBC in the Hague, where the games are being held.

The five-minute chat was filmed on Sunday afternoon.
Alex, presenting the BBC’s coverage of the games, asked in the clip: “On the way here you popped in to see Her Majesty the Queen. Did she have any nice messages for Team UK?”
Harry replied: “She had plenty of messages for Team UK which I’ve already passed on to most of them.”
Neither Buckingham Palace nor Clarence House have spoken about the meetings last Thursday at Windsor.
During their visit to Holland, Meghan and Harry were booked into the £2,000-a-night 5-star Hilton, staying in the Royal Suite.
Meg’s bodyguard, former US presidential bodyguard and ex-Secret Service agent Christopher Sanchez, also had a room at the hotel along with aides from their Archewell foundation.
Their luxurious suite boasted a king size bed, two showers, plus city views from their balcony. A private lift took guests to an underground car park.
The hotel’s Executive lounge was closed from last Wednesday to Saturday to allow the royal couple to use it for meetings and drinks with aides.
It came as Meghan wore three outfits in one day on the visit, thought to be worth more than £8,600.
Watching events, the Duchess wore a £1,944 ivory blazer by American designer Brandon Maxwell, along with blue jeans, a pair of £455 Manolo Blahnik shoes, and £97 Valentino sunglasses.
She topped off the look with a Zodiac necklace thought to be from LA jeweller Logan Hollowell, and a £911 Shiffon ring set.
Later, at a kids’ book reading she wore a pinstriped blazer believed to be a £675 Veronica Beard design.

And for an evening reception, Meghan wore a £3,600 white Valentino dress, a £960 suede Khaite bag, and oversized Valentino shades.
Meghan is thought to have flown home to LA after saying she misses their son Archie, two, and 10-month-old daughter Lili.
