Prince Harry seems out of his element at showbiz gatherings in America and is eager to reconnect with old friends in the UK, as per a royal expert's observations.

Since relocating to California in 2020, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been focusing on individual projects, stepping away from their royal duties.

According to a confidante close to the Sussexes, it is considered normal for couples to pursue separate interests and not always be seen together in public.

Christmas Plans and Family Dynamics

Reports suggest that Prince Harry has not received an invitation to join the royal family at Sandringham for the upcoming Christmas celebrations, marking his absence from the traditional gathering.

The Duke of Sussex last participated in the festive traditions with his family six years ago and has only celebrated Christmas with wife Meghan Markle twice since then.

Former royal correspondent Emily Andrews shared in Woman magazine that while Prince Harry is keen on spending the holidays in the UK with his family, Meghan prefers remaining in the US, creating a dilemma for the couple.

Typically, the royal family gathers at Sandringham for Christmas, attending church together on Christmas day, but this year may see a deviation from the norm.

Having joined the extended royal family for Christmas in 2017 and 2018, the Sussexes opted for a private celebration in 2019 and announced their decision to step back as senior royals in 2020.

Although Prince Harry and Meghan have been invited to spend Christmas with Harry’s uncle Charles Spencer at Althorp House in Northamptonshire, this alternative would mean missing out on the company of their wider family.
