PRINCE Harry’s relationship with his family is already strained, but his bombshell memoir could be the final straw, a royal expert has warned.
Biographer Tom Bower has warned that the “poisonous” tell-all book Spare could even force King Charles to take “drastic” action against his youngest son if it brings The Firm into disrepute.

Prince Harry’s autobiography is set to be released next year
Publishers Penguin Random House revealed yesterday that the controversial autobiography will be released on January 10 and is being translated into 16 languages.
Bower told The Celeb Report said: “This book is really make or break. I imagine that King Charles has been warned that any retaliation won’t be pretty.
“All that King Charles can really do is to withhold the titles for his grandchildren Archie and Lilibet. Ultimately, I suppose, he could take away Harry and Meghan’s titles as well, but that’s pretty drastic.”
“I don’t know what else he can do. If it is as bad as I think it is, then Harry and Meghan have gone fully rogue. The best the family can do is to break ties with them.”
Currently, Prince Harry’s children are allowed to be referred to as Prince and Princess, but haven’t been granted the HRH status – which left their parents furious.
Awkward reunion
Prince Charles will be placed in a difficult position
The £35million book was delayed after the death of the Queen in September, which saw the Duke and Duchess of Suffolk awkwardly reunited with his family.
The ‘Fab Four’ did an awkward walkabout at Windsor, in which Prince William and Kate Middleton looked incredibly uncomfortable.
On the day of the Queen’s death, Prince Harry arrived separately to the rest of his family and allegedly tried to argue for his wife to join him while he said goodbye to his grandmother.
Bower, the author of Revenge: Meghan, Harry and the War between the Windsors, reckons the behaviour of the couple at the funeral was a clear indication that they didn’t want to mend bridges with the Royal Family.
He said: “I think that their behaviour during the funeral showed that there’s no real reconciliation to be had from their side.
“If they wanted one, they would have behaved very differently. Meghan’s interviews since the funeral suggest she is really determined to show that the relationship is complicated.
“She hasn’t said anything that suggests a reconciliation is on the cards.”
Queen fears
It was reported that Prince Harry was desperately trying to make changes to the book following the death of the Queen, and Bower believes the biggest question is what he says about the late monarch.
He said: “I think it’ll be everything that we fear – which is that they’ll attack his family.
“The only question is what he will say about the Queen now she’s gone. The funeral will absolutely be in this.”
He added that the book is “very calculated” as it is being released around the anniversary of Megxit – and it could tarnish the royals’ reputation around the world.
Bower said: “The title is remarkably poisonous. And the fact that it’s been translated simultaneously into 16 languages shows that it’s to make money with a global sale.
MEATY REVELATION

“It’ll do enormous damage to the reputation of the Royal Family across the world.”
He added: “What is grotesque about all this is that Meghan and Harry are constantly monetizing the royal family in a way which is only to their benefit.”
