Queen of clean reveals how to remove melted candle wax from your carpet – and it only takes minutes

YOU’D be hard-pressed to find someone who doesn’t enjoy burning a candle from time to time. But dealing with melted wax on the carpet is a different story altogether.

Lynsey the Queen of Clean has shared how to remove dreaded wax stains from fluffy rugs and carpets within minutes – and the hack even works on walls too.

The cleaning sensation has over 200k followers on Instagram thanks to her cleaning tips and tricks

Posting on her Instagram page, the cleaning sensation shared a clip with her 219k followers demonstrating the nifty hack.

Confident in her ability to remove it, she starts by pouring hot wax straight onto her carpet.

To remove it, she says to grab an old towel and place it over the stain, then gently run over it with a heated iron.

You’ll see the wax begin to lift from the carpet onto the towel, and within minutes your floor will look as good as new.

Lynsey explained: “You can use this same method for wax marks on walls and to remove wax crayon marks from carpets & walls

“I am using a low heat iron here but you can also use your hair dryer too.”

She suggested using brown parcel paper if you don’t have an old towel to use, which supposedly works just as well.
