THE Queen’s Platinum Jubilee is just around the corner and preparations are up and running to celebrate one of Her Majesty’s greatest milestones in the monarchy.
An order of service will take place as part of the weekend’s festivities and here is all you need to know about it.
What is the order of service for The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee?
Her Majesty will be celebrating 70 years in the monarchy in 2022.
Throughout this period, she has been of service to the United Kingdom, the Realms and the Commonwealth.
That is why on Friday, June 3, a Thanksgiving service to the Queen will be held at St Paul’s Cathedral at 11.30am.
It will include bible readings, anthems, prayers and congregational hymns, all with the aim of expressing their gratitude towards the Queen’s service.

The service will also include a new anthem written by Judith Weir.
The Master of The Queen’s Music is an anthem with words from the third chapter of the Book of Proverbs.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are also expected to join the Queen to this service.
If they do, it will officially be the first outing together with the entire Royal Family since they quit the Firm in 2020.
