THE CROWN is heading back to our screens for another series.
Season 5 of the hit Netflix show brings with it a completely new cast, which sees one talented actor take on the role of Prince Andrew.

Who plays Prince Andrew in The Crown?
For The Crown season 5, Prince Andrew is played by actor James Murray.
The TV star found initial fame in Coronation Street in 1998.
James is a familiar face on the box having starred in Cucumber, Suspects, and Age Before Beauty.
He is also married to actress Sarah Parish, who he wed in 2007 and has two children with.

Who has played Prince Andrew in The Crown before?
Andrew has previously been played by two actors in The Crown to Marlo Woolley and Tom Byrne.
Marlo, in his only major role to date, played the controversial character as a child in the third season.
Andrew had more screen time in the fourth season, when he was played by Tom.
The actor portrayed an arrogant version of The Queen’s second-oldest son during his adolescent years.
Tom revealed what it was like to play the character amid the Prince’s controversy in a 2020 interview with Town & Country.
He said: “People are going to bring their perceptions of Prince Andrew to watch [him in] The Crown anyway, I didn’t need to bring my own judgement to it.
“I thought the best thing I can do is to switch that part of my brain off. It just wasn’t useful to me to engage with that stuff – particularly as I was only playing [him as] a 20-year-old.”
What are the main storylines about Prince Andrew in The Crown?
There haven’t been many storylines about Andrew in The Crown.
The fourth season primarily focused on Prince Charles’ marriage with Diana.
But we’re expecting to see a lot more of Andrew in the fifth season, which will include his doomed marriage to Sarah Ferguson.
