Renowned actor Akhil Mishra, widely popular for his portrayal of Librarian Dubey in the hit film 3 Idiots, has passed away in a tragic accident.
The 58-year-old actor was reportedly working in the kitchen when he accidentally slipped from a stool.
Fall proves fatal
The fall proved to be fatal, according to his German wife Suzanne Bernert, who spoke to Indian Express.
Mishra was discovered in a pool of blood and was rushed to the hospital, but sadly, doctors were unable to save him. The body has now been sent for post-mortem.

A close associate of Mishra has confirmed that the actor had been unwell for some time. It is believed that he had been suffering from serious blood-pressure related issues, which may have contributed to his untimely death.

Sources have revealed that Mishra's wife, actress Suzanne Bernert, was away on a shoot at the time of the incident but immediately rushed back when she was informed.
Last rites to be held on September 21
According to sources, Mishra's last rites will take place on September 21 at Indralok, near Golden Nest.
