And at the end of the chaotic show, the revealed some great news for fans.

Confirming it would be back next year, they promised a bumper series where viewers could win the adverts once more.

The show originally launched in 2002 before taking a four year break in 2009 and next year’s series will be the show’s 20th.

Tonight’s finale was thrown into chaos when co-host Stephen Mulhern fell during one of the segments.

He skated to the other side of the stage and nearly slipped, but luckily Ant saved him.

The Geordie presenter said: “I’ll hold you!”

As he skated off for the end of the segment, he fell, leaving Ant and Dec in hysterics.

But unfortunately at the time, the camera panned out onto the audience, so his fall was missed.

Fans couldn’t hold in their laughter as they realised that he had fallen.

One said on Twitter: “BAHAHAHAHAH I WISH WE SAW STEPHEN FALL.”

“I was waiting for Stephen to fall over,” a second chimed in.

A third chimed in: “The fall again from Stephen.”

Later on in the episode Ant asked if the telly star was ok.

“Can I just say something, I’m absolutely fine. But my knees on this stage, it’s hotter than the earth!”

They then treated fans to an action replay.
