Born November 16, 1998, Kayla Sessler, 22, first joined the franchise back in 2011 when her and her ex-boyfriend, Stephan, got pregnant.

Following the birth of her son Izaiah, Kayla then began dating her high-school friend Luke Davis III, 23.

Shortly after they got together, the couple got pregnant and welcomed their daughter Ariah, in 2019, Kayla’s second child.

As their journey continued, Kayla and Luke became a fan-favorite couple and even got engaged.

Despite their on-screen chemistry, the couple seem to be having problems.

Kayla admitted on social media that Luke had cheated on her but when the Young & Pregnant trailer dropped, she revealed that she is pregnant again with her third child.

While many fans wonder who the father is, there is no indication that the couple broke up as of August 30, 2021.

What did Kayla say about Luke adopting her son, Izaiah?

After Kayla claimed Izaiah’s father only gave her $11 in child support, she opened up about the possibility of her fiancé adopting the toddler.

While doing a Q&A on Instagram In May 2021, one fan asked, “Do you think Luke would want to legally adopt Zay someday?” to which Kayla responded, “We cover the topic on the new season.”

While her answer did not reveal much, the couple are expected to to return to the small screen for season three of Teen Mom: Young and Pregnant.

Was Kayla accused of ‘blackfishing’?

As if relationship drama wasn’t enough, Teen Mom fans came after the star and accused her of blackfishing.

In a video that she posted on August 10, 2021, Kayla appears to be in full contoured makeup with two-toned lips, and was wearing her long wavy hair down past her shoulders.

While all glammed out, Kayla appeared to be darker than usual and many fans were quick to accuse the star of using makeup to make her skin appear darker.

“Is it bad that it feels like she’s blackfishing to me,” wrote one fan in the comments, to which another replied, “Oh yes, hardcore blackfacing [sic].”

Another fan wrote: “Blackfishing much.”

And another added: “Is she blackfishing?”

While Kayla has yet to respond to the comments, fans are not happy either way.
