Presenter shake-ups causing panic
BBC BREAKFAST fans have been left panicking over one host's string of absences. The flagship programme, which airs from 6am to 9:30am each morning, has had a number of presenter shake-ups recently.
Host lineup changes
At the start of the week Jon Kay and Sally Nugent anchor BBC Breakfast, before Charlie Stayt and Naga Munchetty take the show into the weekend. Naga was replaced by Nina Warhurst who anchored the show with Charlie.
Fans express concern on social media
However, last week Naga, 49, was nowhere to be seen on the iconic red sofa as Nina Warhurst stood in. As Naga misses a second day from BBC Breakfast this week, fans have taken to social media to express their concerns and well wishes.
Viewers missing Naga Munchetty
One viewer said: "@TVNaga01 are you ok? We miss you from our TV screens in the morning." Another wrote: "Anyone seen Naga Munchetty? I think I'm actually missing her today."
No explanation from BBC Breakfast
BBC Breakfast have not addressed why Naga is missing from the show but the journalist could just be on a well-deserved break from her duties. Jon Kay previously took a break from the show as he enjoyed downtime with his family in Cornwall.
Show airs daily on BBC One and iPlayer
BBC Breakfast airs daily from 6am on BBC One and iPlayer. Fans will have to stay tuned to see when Naga Munchetty returns to the morning show.
