BBC Breakfast’s Naga Munchetty interrupts weather report for cheeky swipe at Carol Kirkwood’s dress

BBC Breakfast’s Naga Munchetty noticed something funny about Carol Kirkwood’s dress on Friday’s program.

The weather presenter was updating Brits on what to expect for the forecast today when her colleague interrupted her handover back to the main hosts.

BBC weather presenter Carol Kirkwood almost blended into her own weather map

While presenting the weather, Carol wore a dark blue dress with white polka dots, whose hue almost matched the weather map behind her.

“Tomorrow afternoon (Saturday) we could have gusts to gailforce across south-west England, and also south Wales, as much as 70 miles an hour for Cornwall, and Isles of Sicily,” Carol said.

“Something to watch out for, Naga and Charlie.”

But before she could finish Naga pointed out something very quirky abot Carol’s dress.

“Definitely something watch out for… Carol, I’m very pleased there are no snow flurries over the west of England, cos if there were you’d look like a floating head.”

Carol joked back: “Thank you, Naga.”

Both laughing, Naga replied: “Pleasure, Carol. See you later.”

Their funny exchange comes one day after presenter Dan Walker took a swipe at a viewer who complained his trousers were too tight.

Dan, 44,  a dark suit jacket, shirt and tie on his top half, the viewer thought his tight trousers looked more like jeggings than a pair that would match the jacket.

They wrote on Twitter: “Is @mrdanwalker wearing jeggings this morning on @BBCBreakfast?”

They may have got a shock when Dan replied to them directly, saying: “No he isn’t #RegulationTrousers.”

The viewer replied: “It must be a trick of the light!”

The presenter usually presents the show alongside his co-star Sally Nugent from Monday to Wednesday, before Naga Munchetty and Charlie Stayt take over for the rest of the week.
