Fans Seethe as Beloved Quiz Show Replaced

BBC viewers have been left seething as a fan-favourite series has been pulled off air for the second week in a row. Mastermind viewers tuned in on Monday night hoping to get their latest fix of the quiz show with host Clive Myrie.

Major Schedule Shake-Up

However, the programme had been replaced in the Beeb's latest schedule shake-up. Bosses took the show off air in favour of airing England's Cricket match against Sri Lanka. It saw day four highlights from the third and final Test in the Mastermind slot.

Fans Express Frustration

Mastermind's official social media account has addressed its absence, with a spokesperson telling fans the show is on a short hiatus. Despite this, fans have been left fuming by the move and flooded social media with their complaints.

Outcry on Social Media

One viewer blasted: "Every week, they seem to be showing cricket in the #Mastermind slot. Could they not put that nonsense on BBC 4 instead?" A second wrote: "Where the heck is Mastermind?? Put that boring cricket on another channel!" While a fourth hit out: "Exactly what I think of mastermind being dumped again, this time for bloody cricket."
