Brendan Cole builds an outdoor shower out of rocks after revealing whole family are living in a tent in Mallorca

BRENDAN Cole has built his family an incredible outdoor shower as they continue to live in a tent in Mallorca.

The Strictly star, 47, previously told how the gang were roughing it over the summer while their home is being refurbished.

And it seems Brendan has pulled out all the stops to make sure wife Zoe and their children Aurelia and Dante aren’t missing their home comforts.

The dancer, who left the BBC show in 2018, shared a video as he got to work on a very impressive wash area, which comes complete with hot water.

He explained:  “This summer, on our magical island, part of camping on our land while building works continue is of course having a working toilet and shower. I didn’t just want to pop a screen up and turn on the hose.

“This was my first attempt with some rock from the garden. I haven’t used cement to secure it as it’s only a small wall and it’s certainly not perfect but it allows us to shower in a tiny bit of luxury every day (well at certain times depending on how hot the water gets!

“The water is heated via 50 meters of black irrigation hosing which left laying in the sunshine will heat up to probably 70 degrees plus (so no showers in the middle of the day).”

He continued: “As you can see the shower head is just a plastic water bottle with holes in it, fitted on q length of pretty bamboo and attached to the sun warmed tubing. The plastic bottle is less aesthetically pleasing than the rest of the shower but it works a treat until I can think of something pretty to replace it!”

Brendan and his family are staying in a huge bell tent while the work is carried out on their home.

Earlier this year he told us: “I’ve bought many houses over the years and I have always had the intention to refurbish them but have never gotten around to it and I have sold them and finally, we’re doing a proper refurb on our house in Mallorca.”
