This year looks to be no different – with Perri confirming that they have no plans to “break tradition” and have been asked by show bosses to return once again.

It comes after The Celeb Report revealed that judge Amanda Holden is preparing to quit the UK and buzz off to the US, after secret meetings with America’s Got Talent.

Speaking exclusively to The Celeb Report, Ashley said: “I was at rehearsals with the boys and they were showing me some of the auditions. There is some amazing talent this year.

“There is a guy who set himself on fire, what is that about.

“I’m sure we’ll be back this year – we’ve performed on Britain’s Got Talent and Any Got Talent more than any other act around the world. So we’re looking at going back. “

Peri said: “At this point it would be weird to break tradition and not go back, so I feel like it would be nice to get back on the stage where it all began.

“I need to catch-up on YouTube and see the talent this year – did you see the yoyo guys? They were impressive.”

Although the super-talented group appear confident and fearless during their performances, Perri admitted that he is still nervous to perform on the BGT stage, despite nearly 15 years in the business.

“I’m nervous every single time, it’s probably once of the most nerve-wracking performances that we do,” he said.

“Every single time, I get nervous for every performance but when you’re back on BGT you almost have a point to prove.

“And the fact that we’re still going back – coming on 15 years, it’s crazy, it’s coming on a long time.

“So every time you go back you have to show people why you kind of deserve to be there and give the best performance you can.

“So I’m kind of gassed to go back.

“We’ve been asked to go back. You’ll see us at some point this series.”

Perri confirmed that the their performance is still a work in progress as they prepare to wow viewers with a jaw-dropping routine.

“I wish we were that prepared – at this stage it’s all in Ashley’s head and it gets to like a week before and we’ll just get to work,” he added.

Meanwhile TV favourite and judge Amanda could be Hollywood-bound after putting her London home on the market — and spending the past two weeks meeting top producers in Los Angeles.

Her model daughter Lexi, 17, has also been looking at three universities stateside — in LA, Boston and New York, with Amanda, 52, keen to help her settle in abroad.

Amanda, who also has daughter Hollie, 11, with record producer husband Chris Hughes, visited the set of boss Simon Cowell’s America’s Got Talent too.

A source said last night: “Amanda is seriously contemplating a move to the States. It feels like the time is now.

“She spent the school hols in LA with the whole family, and had a wonderful time.

“She’s been hanging out with Simon and his fiancee, Lauren, who have been encouraging her to make the move, and enjoy the sunshine and blue skies permanently.

“She even visited the set of America’s Got Talent, and sat alongside judges Heidi Klum and Sofia Vergara. The producers absolutely loved her.

“She fitted in really well; the dynamic with the three women worked, and producers traditionally always have a Brit on the panel.

“Amanda’s had interest from a couple of top agents too, and it just feels like now could be the time to make the leap. Some exciting conversations are being had.”

Should she move to the States it is not known if she would fly back weekly to film BGT, which she has been on since 2007.
