THE Love Island villa is going to be rocked to its core when a fresh batch of sexy singletons arrive for Casa Amor this week.
Six new girls and six new boys are ready and waiting in the wings to take their chance and break up the connections that have been formed over the past month.
So who are this series’ Casa Amor bombshells?
Here come the girls:
Layla Al-Momani, 28, from Kingston, South West London
Layla’s ex is Conor Maynard
Brand managing director Layla doesn’t lack confidence and predicts she’ll be one of the most memorable islanders of the series.
She says: “I think that I’ll be a standout Islander. Regardless of being amongst a group of girls, I’ll prove that I stand out. I like to find out lots about people, so I’ll definitely be the one to ask the weird questions.”
When it comes to the lad she wants to partner with their are a few options on the table.
She says: “Ron! He’s cheeky and he’s like a lad. I really fancy Will, too. My type is Louis Theroux and he just gives that vibe. I also fancy Shaq, but he seems to be unavailable!”
Layla used to go out with pop star Conor Maynard and claims he’s written songs about their break-up.
Sammy James, 27, from Leicester, lives in Dubai
Sammy thinks Casey looks like Bradley Cooper
Beauty buyer Sammy will bring ‘good vibes’ to the villa but is determined to get what she wants.
She isn’t going to be shy in coming forward and is eyeing up Casey as her Mr Right.
She says: “I’ve got my eye on Casey. He’s my number one, he’s cheeky! His blue eyes remind me of the ocean and I love the ocean; it makes me feel calm and connected. That’s
the way he’s probably going to make me feel. I also like the fact that he looks a little bit like Bradley Cooper who is definitely my celebrity crush! And then Tom – for the eye contact!”
Sammy describes herself as a ‘big manifester’, so could her Casey dreams come true?
Cynthia Otseh-Taiwo, 25, North London
Cynthia plans to use eye contact to woo her man
Dental receptionist and baker Cynthia claims to be a girls’ girl, but is willing to step on toes to get what she wants.
And when it comes to getting her man, Cynthia has a tried and tested technique.
She says: “It’s just eye contact… when you don’t look at a guy, they take it that you’re not interested. When you lock the eye contact, that’s when they’re like, ‘OK…’ and they make their move. It’s worked for me in the past.”
So who’s on her radar?
“Tom is the kind of guy I’d go for on the outside and Will looks like my exes!”
Sanam Harrinanan, 24, Bedford
Sanam wants a man she can have a laugh with
Social worker Sanam is all about the banter and wants a guy she can riff off.
Outlining her targets, she says: “Kai is my number one. Job wise I think that we’d connect a lot and I think he’s cute! Tom, I love his beard! He’s not my usual type, but there’s something about him that attracts me physically.
“Casey, he doesn’t seem that serious and I think you could have fun and banter with him.”
Lydia Karakyriakou, 22, from Glasgow
Lydia has her eyes on Casey
Retail customer assistant Lydia has the gift of the gab and likes a good flirt.
She’s another who has the hots for Casey having been impressed with the way he’s handled things with Lana.
She says: “Casey, I love his personality. After seeing the way he spoke with Lana about their situation, I thought he was really upfront. I respect that he didn’t beat around the bush and was honest about the way he felt.”
Lynda Flix, 22, Salford, Manchester
If a guy isn’t fun, Lynda isn’t interested
Healthcare assistant and singer Lynda won’t stand for a boring partner and won’t hold back from expressing her feelings.
She think there are a few guys up to the challenge of entertaining her.
She says: “Kai and Shaq, they’re both tall, dark and handsome. Tom too, I like his eyes and they seem to be doing something for the girls, I want to experience that.”
Now let’s meet the boys:
Kain Reed, 21, from Gateshead, Newcastle
Kain has his eyes on Samie
Geordie energy consultant Kain is ready to test the other couples’ loyalties from the off.
He wants to win and has no issue with trying to turn heads and beat the other lads to the cash prize.
He says: “They need to know that I’m on my way in and no couples are safe! I’m about to step on boys’ toes and turn girls’ heads.”
There’s a recurring theme among the boys: their longing for Samie. But there’s going to be some major disappointment with only one lad able to couple up with her.
He says: “If I had my choice it would be Samie, as soon as I start talking to her I think there’s a good chance it could happen. I also like Lana, she’s obviously coupled up, but in Casa Amor the other boys aren’t there so we’ll have to see what happens won’t we?!”
Ryan Weekley, 22, from Nottingham
Ryan is doing it for the red heads
Steel erector Ryan can’t wait to graft and take his cheeky persona into the villa.
He’s looking for a best friend in a girl and someone he can travel around the world with.
But could his laid back demeanour prove his downfall.
He says: “I like to play it cool, I’ll let a girl know if I’m interested but I’d never put pressure on anything. I do like eye contact, Tom’s been doing it a fair bit in there and the girls seem to like it.”
Frankie Davey, 22, from Ipswich
Frankie says he doesn’t usually have to graft for girls
Pro boxer Frankie is getting ready to pull on his grafting gloves and charm the ladies.
He’s keeping his cards close to his chest in terms of who he has his eye on, but admitted there are two girls that appeal to him.
While he might not have to chase the girls back at home, if he doesn’t put the effort in, he risks an early flight home.
Maxwell Samuda, 23, from London
Maxwell says he’s a good listener
Finance student and restaurant host Maxwell is energetic, outgoing and another who wants to partner with Samie.
Sharing his tactics, he says: “My approach is to just talk to a girl normally, try and learn as much as I can about them and
see if there is a vibe.”
And what is it about Samie that he likes?
“She keeps it real and she seems like she’s not afraid to speak her mind.”
Bayley Mummery, 25, from Surrey
Bayley says Samie will have his parents approval
Operations manager Bayley is in touch with his feelings and prides himself on his realness.
And as a family man, it helps that Samie would get the seal of approval from his parents.
He says: “Samie, she’s my type to a T. If you asked my mum or dad my type they would literally describe her.”
Martin Akinola, 27, from Dublin
Martin is good pals with Dami Hope
Senior software engineer Martin has an ace up his sleeve when it comes to the villa.
He is close pals with last season’s star Dami Hope and has been asking his mate for advice.
Revealing the words of wisdom, he said of Dami: “He said: ‘Do your thing, be yourself and everyone else will get to know you, and get to see why we’re friends.’ He was saying, ‘You tell the boys on a night out, ‘This is how to talk to a
girl’, now go and show them how it’s done.’ I was like, I can do that!”
