CELEBRITY Gogglebox fans have lashed out at the show and threatened to “turn off” after being faced with stomach-churning scenes.
The programme’s stars and its viewers were all left screaming in horror while being made to watch an episode of 24 Hours In A&E.

In the clip, the cameras followed a chap called Paul who had managed to all but slice his thumb clean off with a circular saw.
Paul explained to medics that he had been attempting to cut cardboard when the gruesome accident happened.
But as the celebs tried to steel themselves, nurses removed Paul’s bandage and the cameras zoomed in on his horror injury.
Fearne Cotton and Gok Wan screamed and hid behind their hands, as Gok declared: “It’s flapping around!”
Radio star Nick Grimshaw and his niece Liv were also shown yelling, as Nick also exclaimed: “Oh my God, it’s bad!”
Loose Women stars Judi Love and Charlene White were screaming, along with Zoe Ball, her dad Johnny and son Woody.
Thankfully, surgeons managed to stitch Paul’s thumb back on – but not before Celebrity Gogglebox viewers announced they were ‘switching off’.
Fans had been told at the start of the episode to expect very graphic scenes of surgery, but it seems not everyone took heed of the warning.
One person tweeted: “Please! I’m begging you! STOP SHOWING PEOPLE WITH PARTS OF THEIR BODY HANGING OFF! I genuinely have to turn over. You are going downhill, showing too much stuff just to shock recently #celebritygogglebox.”
Another tweeted: “I’m going to be sick!”
And someone else chimed in: “Oh my god, his thumb!”
Thankfully, not all of Friday’s hour-long instalment left viewers retching and reaching for the remote.
The episode of Celebrity Gogglebox started on a jubilant note thanks to the much-anticipated return of Rylan Clark and his mum Linda.
