CELEBRITY MasterChef has found itself embroiled in another fix row after viewers questioned if DJ Locksmith is lying about his cooking ability.
The Rudimental star – real name Leon Rolle – claimed he was useless in the kitchen and had just been watching his wife cook to practise.
DJ Locksmith was surprised about the reaction he got
Gregg was very impressed with his cooking
But he ended up really impressing judges John Torode and Gregg Wallace as he first cooked duck perfectly and then steak.
Gregg gushed that he was a “chef in the making” as he surprised them with his skills.
He told him: “You by your own admission don’t do a great deal of cooking, you have shown a really good touch again here with a lovely piece of steak.”
But not everyone at home is convinced he is such a novice, with one viewer commenting: “Don’t do much cooking …b&*locks.”
A second added: “I can’t believe he’s not cooked before.”
While a third said: “Locksmith is one of those #CelebrityMasterChef secret cooks. “Oh I never do”. Yeah right.”
And a fourth commented: “I’ve never cooked in my life!-produces Michelin star quality dish.”
After cooking, DJ Locksmith said: “I am so gassed. I can’t believe I cooked something like that. I came into this competition cool, calm and collected and I’ve been roped in. I am like I want to do well now.”
Tonight saw him go up against Drag Race star Cheryl Hole, singer Jamelia, former glamour model Sam Fox and opera singer Wynne Evans.
Unfortunately Cheryl failed to impress and was sent packing.
