The winner of the Celebrity Race Across The World series has been announced, leaving some fans disappointed with the outcome.

After a month-long journey from Morocco to Norway, the series concluded today with the declaration of the victor.

Alex Beresford and his father, Noel, emerged as the winners of the competition.

Another fan added: "Gutted for Harry and his mum. Never wanted Alex Beresford to win, but his dad was lovely". A third fan expressed their opinion, saying: "I think I want Billy and his sister to win. Anyone but Alex Beresford, who has come across as pretty entitled."

Celebrity Race Across The World is a series where high-profile celebrities leave their comfortable lifestyles to embark on a challenging 10,000km journey from Africa to the Arctic. Teaming up with family members, they face the daunting task of navigating this epic adventure without the conveniences of air travel, credit cards, or smartphones, relying solely on their resourcefulness.

The race to the finish line

In tonight's season finale, the stars raced towards the Arctic Cathedral, where they boarded a cable car to reach the finish line. Desperately, they implored taxi drivers to accept the money they had remaining in exchange for being taken to the final destination.

Although Alex Beresford emerged as the winner, McFly's Harry Judd and his mum Emma followed closely behind, finishing just four minutes later.

Siblings Billy and Bonny Monger had to leave the competition at the start of the episode due to a family emergency.

One disappointed fan wrote on X: "Noooo!!! I wanted Billy and Bon to win Celebrity Race Across The World. Gutted they had to leave it at the last bit."
