Joe Lycett returns to Late Night Lycett for a second series
Channel 4 has revealed that the comedy variety show Late Night Lycett will be returning for a second series, with popular celebrity host Joe Lycett at the helm. The show, which celebrates Birmingham's diversity, will feature a mix of local heroes, LGBTQ+ icons, and big-name guests from the world of entertainment.
New season set to air in a month
The upcoming season of Late Night Lycett is scheduled to start airing on Friday, April 12 and will run for six weeks, with live episodes every Friday night. Joe Lycett expressed his excitement for the new series, promising viewers an even bigger and wilder experience compared to the first season.
Other popular shows making a comeback on Channel 4
In addition to the return of Late Night Lycett, Channel 4 has also announced the comeback of other fan-favorite shows. Taskmaster, featuring a new lineup of contestants, will return on Thursday, March 28, followed by the new series of 24 Hours in Police Custody on Monday, March 25, and Night Coppers on March 26.
Taskmaster fans can look forward to a virtual reality version of the show launching later this year, offering a fully immersive experience for viewers. Meanwhile, Night Coppers will continue to follow officers policing Brighton's lively nightlife scene in its second season.
