Chrishell Stause hits back at claims she ‘used’ Selling Sunset blind date ‘as a pawn’ for the show’s storyline

CHRISHELL Stause clapped back at the claims that she allegedly “used” her Selling Sunset blind date “as a pawn” for the reality show’s storyline for the fourth season.

Tarek El Moussa‘s friend Robert Drenk opened up on “what really down” during his date on Instagram.

Robert admitted he was “set up on a blind date back in June that was filmed for Selling Sunset Season 4.”

He claimed Tarek, 40, and Heather Rae Young, 34, had already spoken to Chrishell, 40, who “was interested in going on a date.”

Robert added: “I guess Selling Sunset film crew overheard and wanted for the show.”

In the comments section, he claimed: “So filming took place at the end of June and by then Chrishell was already (secretly) dating @jasonoppenheim. I was requested to show up and talk to a producer for a couple of hours prior to the actual meet-up with Chrishell.

“They had me in a hotel room and asked me a lot of personal questions to get to know me. They told me what to expect on this ‘Blind Date’ and how it would go down.”

He continued: “They wanted me to walk up like ‘The Bachelor’ and film our very first look at each other on-camera!”

Robert accused Chrishell of treating him “with disrespect and spun the entire thing on me making me look bad and ‘creepy’ for television.”

He also shared a screengrab of his date with the reality as they appeared to be on a yacht.

The caption stated: “I just figured I’d pull you off and have fun with you.”

‘YOU WERE RUDE’

In a deleted response, which resurfaced on E! News, Chrishell revealed she had enjoyed meeting with Robert at first “until I started to see things I didn’t vibe with.”

She added: “But picking me up and then not getting up to let me out was not great.”

The TV star claimed she “was single. You were rude. It wasn’t a match.”

She continued: “I wish you all the best and it sucks this all went so downhill.”

Chrishell concluded: “But tagging me in multiple posts on multiple platforms to try to defend behavior that isn’t defendable isn’t it.”

HER PERSONAL LIFE

At the beginning of December, the TV personality announced that she and Jason Oppenheim have entered into a relationship.

The couple shared a kiss in a new season trailer.

Chrishell was previously married to actor Justin Hartley, 44, known for Smallville and This is Us.

The Selling Sunset star recently debuted her brunette locks on the red carpet of the 47th annual People’s Choice Awards.
