Jack P Shepherd, who has portrayed David Platt for 25 years, expressed his gratitude for the unexpected windfall, which he used to take his family to Florida. The actor shared that the fan, a postman from New Zealand, left him 10% of their estate, amounting to £5,000.
Surprise stag do plans
Aside from the unexpected inheritance, Jack also found himself in a humorous exchange with his co-stars regarding plans for his upcoming marriage. Despite his reluctance to have a stag do, his friend Colson revealed that a small group had already planned one for him, much to Jack's surprise.
