Star's Eccentric Mansion Sale

CORRIE star Julie Goodyear has finally sold her eccentric mansion for £1.3million after knocking £200k off the price. The 83-year-old Coronation Street legend put her quirky rural pile in the outskirts of the city on the market for £1.5million in October last year.

Unique Features and Discount

Julie, 83, and her husband have lived in the home for 25 years, which includes stables, wrought iron gates, and even its own cobbles on the driveway. Interior shots show Julie's love of leopard print, with an open plan kitchen perfect for hosting and four bathrooms for ample space.

Health Battle and Dementia Diagnosis

The proceeds from the sale will help Julie in her health battle, as she announced her dementia diagnosis in June 2023. Julie is being cared for by her husband Scott, who recently shared a picture of her in high spirits on her birthday.

Living with Dementia

Despite her diagnosis, Julie continues to live a fulfilling life, enjoying leopard print and regular outings. Her friend Mark Llewellin mentioned that she is brave and strong in facing her condition, living with dementia rather than suffering from it.
