CARLA Connor is shocked as her ex Lucas turns up next week in Coronation Street as Peter Barlow begs her for another chance.
Peter’s shock plea comes after Carla is tempted by Lucas’s offer of a weekend away and packs her bags.

Viewers will see Carla start to give up on Peter as she watches him write a suicide note for Simon.
When Carla is horrified, Peter insists it’s a farewell letter to help Simon come to terms with the fact he’s dying.
Later, Peter reads out the letter to Simon, leading the heartbroken teenager to storm out and wash his hands of his dad.
Ken is horrified by the Simon situation and finds Peter drunk in a hotel bar but his son turns violent when Ken tries to talk some sense into him.
Things only get worse later in the week as Ken finds Peter suffering a seizure and calls an ambulance.
In the hospital, the Barlows discuss the doctor’s advice to reduce Peter’s alcohol intake slowly to avoid sudden death.
Meanwhile, Carla realises her new client at the factory, Lucas, is an old flame she met in Devon.
When Peter tells her he doesn’t want his support, she goes to lunch with Lucas who reveals he’s booked a hotel for the weekend and would like her to join him.
But as Ken administers Peter’s whisky and Carla gets ready to set off for the weekend, Peter begs her not to leave.
