JENNY Connor has been giving Leo Thompkins a tough time on recent episodes of Coronation Street.
But with Christmas approaching, will the landlady of the Rovers Inn give the construction worker a chance?
Needless to say, 2021 has been a tough year for Jenny, played by Sally Ann Matthews.
In 2017, Jenny tied the knot with Johnny Connor, played by Richard Hawley.
While his affair with Liz MacDonald caused significant damage to their union, it wasn’t until Jenny admitted to her own infidelity with Ronnie Bailey that the two separated.
Following their split, Jenny had a brief romance with Leo (Joe Frost), who appeared in Weatherfield for the first time in September, 2021.

But when she fell into the Platts’ sinkhole, Jenny was narrowly saved from death by her former husband.
Yet as the pair appeared to be ready to rekindle their relationship, Jenny was devastated when Johnny died, his last words being a declaration of love to her.
Climbing underground to save Jenny, Johnny received the help of Shona Platt but he fell unconscious and drowned to his death before he could be rescued, during the dramatic Super Soap Week in October, 2021.
While she has been crushed by the death of her former husband, an upcoming Coronation Street episode could bring her luck in the love department.
As Jenny congratulates her stepdaughter Daisy on her Christmas planning, Leo makes a move on her, asking her out for a drink.
Jenny refuses, however, stating that Leo is too young for her.
Persistent, albeit hurt by Jenny’s rejection, Leo has no intention of giving up just yet
He pursues Jenny even further and invites her to come and watch him play a game of rugby.
A proposal to which Jenny responds by apologising for giving him mixed signals.
