MONTHS after her estranged husband Johnny’s death, Jenny Connor has been enjoying her time with Leo Thompkins.
Meanwhile, her romantic connection with the toyboy (portrayed by Joe Frost) has failed to impress Carla Connor and she is not afraid to voice it.
With the death of her father Johnny (Richard Hawley) still fresh on her mind despite their rocky relationship, it’s no wonder Carla (Alison King) is struggling to see Jenny move on with another man.
In an upcoming episode of Coronation Street due to air next week, Carla reminds Jenny – played by Sally Ann Matthews – that she promised Kate (Carla’s half-sister) a share of Johnny’s money.
A fuming Carla then accuses the Rovers’ landlady of abandoning her family in favour of Leo, leaving her devastated.
But Jenny is in for another nasty surprise.

When she calls in the Rovers Inn to thank Jenny to thank her for sorting out Kate’s money, Carla isn’t shy to reiterate.
After accusing her of neglecting her family, she tells Jenny that she thinks her relationship with Leo is inappropriate, particularly so soon after Johnny’s death.
Johnny drowned to his death in the Platt’s sinkhole during Super Soap Week, in October, 2021, as he was saving Jenny’s life.
Later on, Jenny gets a horrific call that Leo has been injured while playing rugby and has been rushed to A&E… but she gets an even bigger shock when she visits him.
While Carla is far from fond of Leo, Jenny has been less than eager to commit to him.
This is mostly due to their age gap, which has been leaving Jenny uncomfortable.
She was recently reminded of their age difference when she first met Leo’s housemates.
Leo, on the other hand, has been seemingly smitten with Jenny, determined to take things to the next level with her.
He was even willing to introduce Jenny to his parents, despite her reluctant behaviour.
And with Carla’s comments about their relationship, will Jenny find it in her to commit to Leo?
Or will she discard him and their relationship?
What happened to Leo A&E?
