AFTER getting ready for Dylan’s departure for London, Sean Tully was shocked to find out he wanted to live with him.
But the lad, who admitted he wanted to escape his bullies, confesses he has another motive for staying in Coronation Street.
Dylan Wilson tells his father Sean Tully he’d like to stay in Weatherfield
Dylan made his way back to the cobbles in recent weeks
He even had the chance to meet his father’s then-boyfriend Frank
With its dramatic twists, sour turns and deadly bombshells, life in Weatherfield isn’t for the faint-hearted.
Over the years, many have decided to leave the cobbles to start afresh somewhere else, such was the case of Violet Wilson.
However, despite his mother having settled with him in London when he was still a baby, Dylan Wilson (portrayed by Liam McCheyne) has decided Coronation Street is the perfect place for him, away from adversity he’s experiencing in school.
Next week, his father Sean Tully (Antony Cotton) confides in Eileen Grimshaw (Sue Cleaver) how Dylan wants to move up near Manchester and live with him.

But the Underworld machinist is shocked when his 14-year-old son admits he lied to him about being bullied at school.
Yet Dylan stands his ground and wants to live with Sean rather than in London with his mother.
Armed with the knowledge the young boy isn’t happy away from him, Sean agrees he’ll speak to Violet – but how will she react?
Diehard fans of the ITV soap can expect Sean will get into trouble with the mother of his child, mostly because of their troubled history.
In 2007, he agreed to impregnate Violet as she was desperate for a baby and understood that he would play no part in the child’s life.
But things changed when Dylan was born for Sean and, ready to step up to the plate and be the best father he could be, he wanted to renegotiate with Violet.
Sadly, this pushed her to flee Weatherfield with her then-boyfriend Jamie Baldwin who tried to be involved in Dylan’s life, although he struggled to bond with him.
Eventually, Sean was given the chance to be a part of Dylan’s life but Violet still fought him when it came to letting the boy visit his biological father.
What will she do when she finds out Dylan wants to live with Sean?
Coronation Street airs Monday, Wednesday and Friday on ITV.
