CORONATION Street star Sam Aston has been seen posing with his rarely-seen baby son who looks JUST like him.
The soap actor – who is best known for playing Chesney Brown since he joined the ITV show in 2003 – is currently on holiday with his wife and only child.
Sam, 28, looked to be enjoying the sunshine as he posed for an adorable father-son snap with his tot Sonny James in a post shared by his wife Briony.
The yoga teacher took to Instagram with the adorable photograph, which shows the pair looking almost identical as they smiled for the camera.
Little Sonny, one, looks to have inherited his dad’s looks, sharing the same facial features – as well as sporting a full bright red head of hair.
“Everyone says he looks just like his daddy, I just don’t see it,” mum Briony sarcastically captioned the post, which quickly gained thousands of likes.
Fans flooded the comments to gush over the sweet photograph of the duo.
“You guys are the double of each other! Like daddy, like son,” one fan wrote, as a second chimed in to agree: “He’s definitely his double!”
Sam and his wife Briony are currently expecting their second child together – a baby girl – which they announced to the world last October.
Speaking to OK! Magazine, Sam admitted: ” I could see us having another boy, so it was a really nice surprise. I was quite shocked. I don’t know why, because it’s a 50/50 chance!
“We booked an early gender reveal 4D scan at a place called Instascan 4D Baby in Padiham.
“There are twins in Briony’s family, so when we went in I was a bit nervous and said, ‘There’s definitely only one in there, right?’ He said, ‘There’s only one!’ and then told us it was a girl!”
The couple hadn’t been planning to have another child so soon but now
they are happy to be having kids that will “be close in age”.
Briony explained: “We were actually trying not to get pregnant! Just because Sonny was so premature – my concern was having two too close together and having another premature baby. But it just happened!”
Yoga teacher Briony also said that the couple “feel really lucky to have one of each” .
In October, the couple announced they were expecting a second child and revealed the news on Instagram with a sweet photo of Sonny sitting among four pumpkins.
Briony shared the adorable photo to her Instagram page, with just a star emoji as the caption, with Sam posting to his own account without anything extra added.
They were quickly inundated with well-wishes from followers and famous pals, with Sam’s Corrie co-star Alex Mardell writing: “Congrats guys! So cute”.
And Sally Ann Matthews wrote: “Oh my!!! Congratulations to you both x”
Sam and Briony welcomed little Sonny six weeks early in August 2020, with Briony writing at the time: “He calmly entered our world 6 weeks early on 11.08.20 at 5lb 7oz and we couldn’t be more in love”.
