COUNTING On fans suspected Josiah Duggar’s wife Lauren is PREGNANT after the couple disappeared from social media.
Sharp-eyed fans speculated around Lauren’s potential baby bump as they spotted her in the background of Jed and Katey Duggar’s gender reveal party on YouTube.
Lauren and her husband Josiah disappeared from social media with their most recent post shared on their engagement anniversary back in February 2020.
Without the social media updates, fans are left to family affairs and photos to get updates from the couple.
From Lauren and Josiah resurfacing in a family photo in September 2021 to a YouTube video released of Jed and Katey’s gender reveal party, fans noticed a significant difference in Lauren’s figure.
One posted: “Totally looks like a bump.”
Another agreed: “Pretty dramatic change compared to photos of her a couple months ago, so definitely could be.”
A third commented: “You can see the outline of her belly and she looks pregnant. The lose-fitting sweater cannot be blamed.”
Although a fourth took to defending Lauren: “No way am I going to speculate on this girl’s fertility. That miscarriage a few years ago obviously traumatized her. Plus, she’s not even on social media anymore.”
IT’S A…
Jed Duggar and his wife Katey Nakatsu revealed the gender of their first child in the sweet family YouTube video after Josh Duggar’s child pornography arrest.
Jed and Katey announced they were expecting their first child together in September – a few months after they tied the knot.
Joe Duggar, John Duggar, Abbie Burnett, Jana Duggar and other members of the famous family were present.
During the party, the family chowed down on themed snacks, choosing sides before gathering to find out the gender once and for all.
After learning the baby was a boy, someone could be heard shouting: “I knew it!” as Jed and Katey kissed.
The gender reveal comes after Jed was accused of trying to “distract” from Josh’s child pornography scandal.
OUT OF HIDING
Josiah and his wife Lauren resurfaced from their media disappearance back in September 2021 in a family group photo.
The couple, who got married in 2018 and share almost-2-year-old daughter Bella, popped up in some group shots from a family reunion over Labor Day weekend.
The Duggar Fam Instagram account shared quite a few snaps from their time enjoying a day out at Farmland Adventures, having fun in the sun, doing corn mazes, and eating good food.
In the caption, it read: “Quite a few of us made it out to @farmlandadventuresnwa for a great day of family fun!
“It still feels like Summer outside, but the giant corn maze sure did get us in the mood for Fall!
“The pumpkin patch, pony rides, farm animals, pig races, 9-acre maze, and play area all made for some happy, tired kids… and adults!
The caption concluded: “Can’t wait to go back! #makingmemories #happylaborday”
Josiah’s parents, Jim Bob and Michelle, posed with a bunch of their kids, as well as grandkids and extended family members for a nice, scenic shot.
LEGAL WAR OVER?
Meanwhile, the Duggar sisters are “in talks to settle” a lawsuit with police over allegations involving their brother Josh.
Jessa, Jill, Jinger and Joy-Anna are chatting with authorities over a leaked police report claiming their disgraced brother molested minors in the family home.
The order sets out what is expected from the day: “The purpose of the settlement conference is to precipitate settlement of this case, if that is appropriate.
“It will be conducted in such a manner as to not prejudice any party in the event settlement is not reached that all matters communicated to the undersigned (judge)… will not be disclosed to the trial judge. The undersigned of course will not serve as trial judge in this case.”
In 2015, a 33-page Arkansas police report was released to the public, claiming dad Jim Bob confessed to local authorities that his eldest son Josh fondled the breasts and genitals of young girls while they were asleep in the Duggar family home years prior.
Josh’s younger sisters Jill, 30, and Jessa, 29, came forward as two of the alleged victims in an interview with Megyn Kelly, where they insisted they had forgiven Josh, who was never charged, for his wrongdoings.
In May 2017, Jill and Jessa sued the City of Springdale, police department employees and other Defendants for invasion of privacy and more, claiming releasing the records caused “extreme mental anguish and emotional distress.”
Sisters Jinger, 27, and Joy-Anna, 24, are also suing, though they have not publicly come forward as victims of the alleged molestation.
One source close to the family told The Celeb Report that Josh’s conviction on child pornography charges could impact the outcome in the sisters’ case.
The source said: “They’ve been allowed to proceed on their case against the police department and a couple of police officers.
“That was supposed to go to trial the same week as Josh’s trial, but it got reset.
“If there is a trial, the damages could be cut as a consequence of Josh’s conviction.”
DECLARED GUILTY
On December 9, Josh was found guilty on child pornography charges, ending an explosive two-week trial.
The eldest Duggar son was taken into custody immediately after the verdict came in, and is expected to remain in jail until his sentencing in 2022.
The Celeb Report obtained video showing Josh being led into a booking area by an officer.
He was handcuffed with his hands behind his back.
Josh was first arrested in April, more than a year after Homeland Security raided his Arkansas car dealership.
He was charged with possessing and receiving child pornography.
