COUNTRYFILE viewers were all left saying the same thing following last night’s instalment of the rural TV programme.
Many fans of the hit BBC One show hit out after they were left seriously unimpressed by what they considered ‘misleading’ claims presented on the show.

Countryfile viewers questioned the show for being misleading
The latest episode of Countryfile focused on the recent heatwaves that have impacted the UK, including the many wildfires to occur as a result.
The episode, presented by John Craven and Adam Henson, explored the realities the heatwave had caused on the country, but many viewers felt underwhelmed by what was presented.
Amongst some of the footage broadcast was of farmers up and down the country dealing with the fallout of the drought on their land and crops, and concerns over potential wildfires.
During one spectacular scene, a combine harvester was shown to catch fire as presenter Adam said: “If that wasn’t enough, there have been combine harvesters bursting into flames and crop fires.”
Viewers were quick to call out the BBC One show as the wildfires were not connected to the reason the vehicle set alight.
One user on Twitter shared: “That combine harvester caught on fire due to a ruptured fuel pipe it’s misleading for #Countryfile to say it caught fire due to the heatwave.”
A fellow puzzled viewer added: “Why would a combine harvester just burst into flames? #countryfile #heatwave.”
Another lamented: “They’re insinuating it burst into flames because it’s hotter than normal.”
A fourth watcher simply stated: “#Countryfile is talking bull s**t.”
Despite the controvertial start to the show, many viewers shared their praise and enjoyment over a later segment surrounding the wine industry.
The show divulged how many wildfires across Europe had decimated vieyards and wine-making facilities however thankfully many of the UK’s vineyards had remained safe.
Presenter John was given a tour of a vineyard where he explained: “Global warming might be affecting traditional methods of farming in the UK but there are many new opportunities.”
This section of the show appeared to rally viewers around from the earlier conflicting start.
One fan wrote: “Rare positivity segment, the British wine industry is as strong as ever.”
Another agreed saying: “I enjoy #Countryfile. Great segment on British wine as a balance for the horror stories of increasing heat. Also, the farmer looking at diversifying with sunflowers etc.”
