Ralf is currently filming series 12 of the hit BBC show in Guadeloupe, which acts as the fictional Caribbean island of Saint Marie.
The cast and crew spend months filming each series, but Ralf has now revealed that he has managed to get a break from the set.
In a video from his hotel room, Ralf said he was currently in St Lucia with his fiancee Lindsey Ferrentino.
He wrote in the caption: “We have some downtime from filming @deathinparadiseofficial so decided to head to @sandals_uk in St Lucia for some R&R with the other half.
“First day here, just got back from the beach and… well… the service is *next level*.”
After a day at the beach, Ralf returned to his room and was greeted by a bubble bath.
As he placed his feet in he said: “That is pretty sensational” then once he was full submerged he added: “I am all about this life.”
While Ralf is making the most of life in the Caribbean, former Death in Paradise star Kris Marshall is gearing up to reprise his role in a spin-off series.
Kris, 49, played DI Humphrey Goodman for six series, and will be reunited with Sally Bretton’s Martha Lloyd in Beyond Paradise.
Kris said: “I had the best time playing Humphrey out in Guadeloupe and whilst I was delighted that he got his happy ending with Martha, I always wanted to know what happened next.
“So it’s a joy to be putting his crumpled jacket back on and seeing how life has panned out for him back in the UK.
“Working with Sally is a dream, and I can’t wait to continue Humphrey and Martha’s story and solve a few seemingly impossible mysteries along the way.”
Humphrey’s time on the show ended with with him falling for island tourist Martha and following her back to the UK.
