RALF Little shared a sweet tribute to his Death in Paradise character DI Neville Parker, but it left fans concerned about his fate on the show.
The fan-favourite actor has been a series regular in the British-French crime drama since Season 9, but his cryptic Instagram post left fans worried he was getting ready to depart the series.

Ralf posted a cryptic throwback in celebration of his role – but left fans worried he was leaving
Ralf, 42, posted a throwback snap of him just before he was cast in the BBC detective series. Alongside it, he wrote a sweet caption to celebrate his time on the show.
He wrote: “8th May 2019. The Cliffs of Moher, Ireland. The next day I got the call to say I’d been cast in @deathinparadiseofficial and my life changed forever.
“Not a day goes by I don’t appreciate how lucky I am.
“Appreciate every one of you who watched and took DI Neville Parker into your hearts,” he added, concluding the post with a series of love heart and palm tree emojis.
However, his emotional tribute, coupled with his use of the past tense, left some viewers concerned he was leaving.
One fan said: “Ooo past tense????? Please just be a slip … ‘watched’ ‘took’.”

A second fan issued similar concerns, writing. “‘Watched’ ‘took’ past tense? Surely not!”
“Are you leaving? Please say nooo,” a third fan commented.
However, Ralf was quick to clear up the confusion in his post and confirmed he’s not leaving the show, but merely speaking is past tense in reference to when he started in 2019.
“Watched it when I first started, I mean. Never know how [an] audience is going to react to an incoming character, especially on a show that’s so well loved,” he explained.
“Phew, I didn’t think you’d make a subtle announcement like that, but stranger things have happened,” a fan replied.
Another added: “Phew! You had me worried for a minute. Love you in DIP Ralf, absolutely brilliant – we love Neville Parker.”
Ralf insisted Neville isn’t going anywhere and that he’ll be back on screens in Season 12.
Ralf confirmed his character DI Neville Parker will return next season
