Posting on the social media platform, the user pointed out how Queen Anthena appeared in the same lagoon 20 years previous to her kidnap in Peter Pan
During the Disney classic Ariel’s mother, who was the Queen of Atlanta, was kidnapped.
She was taken hostage from the Mermaid Lagoon by pirates and never seen again by her family.
However, one TiKTok user has spotted a link between the classic family film and Peter Pan.
Posting on the social media platform, the user pointed out how Queen Anthena appeared in the same lagoon 20 years previous to her kidnap.
The poster said: “I can’t believe I just noticed this in The Little Mermaid…
“So Anthena, Ariel’s mother, was taken by the pirates in the Mermaid Lagoon…
“But wait, 20 years before she appeared in the same lagoon in Peter Pan.”
The Disney-watcher shared clips from both films to prove the link which showed a woman matching the same description as Ariel’s mother in Peter Pan.
It’s led fans to speculate that Anthena was kidnapped by Captain Hook.
Replying to the video, one said: “It’s Walt Disney, it’s all connected.”
A second wrote: “I thought we knew that? Her mom reps the Dead Sea & her daughters each represent the others Ariel=red sea.”
“That’s a known fact, I used to work for Disney at imagineering in glendale and they would talk about this,” commented a third.
