Despite his financial ties to the pharmaceutical company, Dr Ranj presented a segment on the safety of the AstraZeneca vaccine on BBC Morning Live without disclosing his previous collaboration with AstraZeneca.
Response from BBC
The Mirror reported that BBC executives are displeased with Dr Ranj's lack of disclosure. The BBC spokeswoman mentioned that they were unaware of the financial link before the show aired.
