EastEnders fans all say the same thing as Eve and Suki finally kiss – and have a big demand for bosses

LOVERS Suki Panesar and Eve Unwin shared a kiss during last night’s trip to Albert Square.

Since then, EastEnders fans are asking bosses for the storyline to continue.

Will history repeat itself or has Suki Panesar (portrayed by Balvinder Sopal) finally found a love that could last?

Thursday’s instalment of the long-running drama saw the businesswoman invite former convict and lawyer Eve Unwin (played by Heather Peace) for lunch to thank her.

The pair shared a deep conversation about Suki’s abusive and controlling husband in earlier scenes.

During the scene, Suki had rubbed her foot against Eve’s legs, giving the impression she was interested in her.

Later on, Eve showed up at Suki’s house to tell her how she felt before leaning in for a kiss – but things didn’t go according to plan.

Suki responded to Eve’s kiss by slapping her and ordering her out of the house.

Meanwhile, EastEnders fans went mad, gushing over the new potential couple and sharing their thoughts on Twitter.

But they didn’t waste any time in calling out Suki for sending Eve mixed signals.

“Ouch I felt that, Suki was making all the moves until now, can’t blame Eve for rushing in EastEnders”, one viewer Tweeted.

A second soap fan urged Eve to take her time: “Oh Eve take it slower, she’s so excited to tell Suki how she feels.”

A third viewer echoed these concerns, commenting: “Oh Eve you laid that on way to thick You should of waited for Suki to say something first.”

“Make Eve and Suki happen”, another simply penned.

As mentioned above, Suki was previously talking to Eve about her controlling husband, who was thrown behind bars for murder in 2002.

Suki asserted she was worried Nishandeep’s release from prison and confided in Eve about the mental abuse she endured while she was with him.

“He’d belittle me”, the matriarch said, “humiliate me. Decide who I was allowed to see [and] where I went.”

“His family would tell me that’s just his way. He controlled every inch of my life.”

Whether the spark between Eve and Suki is reignited remains to be seen but this wouldn’t be the first time Suki kisses another resident – before cruelly rejecting them.

The same incident led to her piling up the pressure on her former employee Honey Mitchell before the latter turned to another job, unable to cope.

Can Eve get Suki to open up?

EastEnders airs on BBC Two next week after a major shake-up due to Wimbledon.
