PREGNANT Linda Carter risks everything to help Rainie Cross next week in EastEnders.
Linda and Mick are hiding the huge secret that the father of her baby is actually Max Branning, who she had a short fling with last year.
The couple have agreed to keep Max, who recently disappeared from Walford with his young granddaughter Abi, in the dark about the fact that he has another child on the way.
But viewers know that Rainie is desperate to track down little Abi, who she had planned on bringing up before Max kidnapped her.
Next week, Stuart and Rainie lock horns over missing Abi.
Linda tries to cheer Rainie up, but is overwhelmed with guilt knowing she’s lying to her.
Later, Violet mentions that Linda looks very big for how far along she is in her pregnancy and Rainie is left with food for thought.

Later, she pops round to see Linda and, spotting her hospital bag, goes rooting through it while Linda’s back is turned.

Later in the week, The Vic is ready for Pride and Linda texts Rainie to check in.
However, it all kicks off when Jack arrives and demands to know the truth.

The soap’s executive producer Jon Sen has teased that Rainie could be a big problem for Linda in upcoming scenes.
Speaking to The Celeb Report and other media, he said: “Of course, let’s not forget Linda and Mick. Linda is pregnant obviously with Max’s baby. They’re desperate to hide that from the Square.
“But Rainie, as ever, is intent on finding out the truth, and will the Carters be able to convince everyone that Mick’s the father in time, or will Rainie get to the truth?”
