SINCE returning to Albert Square, Sam Mitchell has been more than willing to stir up trouble.
With Kat Slater and Sharon Watts in her target line, she hatches a plan to deepen the growing wedge between them in EastEnders.
In recent months, Kat (portrayed by Jessie Wallace) has surprisingly found herself joining forces with Sharon (Letitia Dean), particularly due to Sam Mitchell’s (Kim Medcalf) return.
The troublemaker is determined to prove she’s worth the family legacy, despite being kept at arm’s length from her brother Phil’s empire.
This has most notably led to her plotting a fake showdown at local nightclub Peggy’s, which the Mitchell clan have recently purchased and rebranded in honour of their late matriarch Peggy.
Sam’s scheming (and shooting) led her back into Kat’s good graces as the owner of Kat’s Cabs re-hired her to be a manager of the venue, after initially sacking her.

In upcoming scenes of the BBC One drama, Sam sinks her claws deeper into Kat and Sharon, ready to take the lead of Phil’s business ventures while he stays in prison, and takes her plan to the next level.
Next week, Sharon first receives a package on the day of her son Denny’s 16th birthday.
Dennis Rickman Jr. was killed off in February, 2020, and Sharon has been in mourning ever since – but she’s very touched by what she finds in the package.
Meanwhile, Kat has doubts about her relationship with Phil and Sam has done nothing but toy with them, thus accusing Sharon of having an emotional affair with the tough man.
Kat receives a call from an incarcerated Phil who asks for a favour, but the line goes dead.
In later scenes, Kat grows increasingly worried and is left on edge when she’s harassed by a mystery caller.
