EastEnders spoilers: Suki Panesar stunned by shock return of family member

WHILE drama continues to unfold in Albert Square, Suki Panesar has remained in the background.

Next week in EastEnders, the owner of the Minute Mart gets a surprise as one of her children comes back to Walford.

Suki Panesar gets a shock next week in EastEnders

Her family has taken a backseat from the drama in recent weeks

The Panesars have been given a break from all the ups and downs in the borough, notably after Kheerat’s showdown with serial killer Gray Atkins, prior to the latter’s arrest.

Vinny has been seen trying to get Dotty Cotton’s affection, blinding himself to the fact she has a habit of leading him on.

Even villainous and cold-hearted Suki (portrayed by Balvinder Sopal) took a backseat from the spotlight, just as her former employee (and victim) Honey Mitchell picked another job over a spot at the Minute Mart.

But in scenes due on BBC One next week, Suki, Kheerat and Vinny’s family is almost complete with the surprise return of Ash Panesar (played by Gurlaine Kaur Garcha).

Coming up, Suki talks about Ash with Dotty and Vinny as she is about to celebrate her 30th birthday.

Later on, she is shocked when Ash unexpectedly comes back to the Square and proceeds to make amends with her.

Ash hasn’t been seen in Walford since January, 2022, and temporarily left after being attacked by Neil’s gang alongside Ben Mitchell, Callum Highway, Eve Unwin and Stacey Slater.

The doctor didn’t leave Albert Square on good terms with Suki.

While the two have been used to clash over the year, their dysfunctional relationship took a turn when Suki slept with Peter Beale (Dayle Hudson).

This was the final straw for Ash and, after an intense confrontation, she decided to exit Walford to go to Leeds to pursue a new job opportunity.

Many EastEnders fans assumed Ash and the actress who portrayed her had left permanently until it was confirmed that Gurlaine would be coming back to Walford later in 2022.

All seems well for the Panesars – until Suki receives a strange letter.

She tenses as she reads and later asks former solicitor Eve Unwin for legal advice – what could she be afraid of?

EastEnders airs from Monday to Thursday on BBC One.
