EastEnders star Danielle Harold looks nothing like her character Lola after glam makeover

EASTENDERS star Danielle Harold looked worlds away from her character Lola Pearce after a glam makeover.

Lola – who was diagnosed with a terminal brain tumour last year –  is trying to enjoy her last moments with her loved ones in Albert Square.

But in real life, Danielle, 29, has been enjoying life after her soap exit, sharing a flurry of stunning photos from nights out.

In her latest snap, Danielle glammed up in a blue blazer, white t-shirt and blue skinny jeans.

She wore her blonde tresses loose with plaits on top and finished her look with bronzed make-up and heavy eyeshadow.

Her character is set to leave EastEnders in emotional scenes later this year.

Many fans flocked to comment on Danielle’s picture, saying she will be “missed”.

One posted: “I am going to miss you on the screen so much.”

Another wrote: “Going to miss seeing you on EastEnders Danielle you are an amazing actress.”

While another echoed: “Looking good, going to be so weird not seeing you on EastEnders, the storyline is so sad.”

Lola’s health has been on a drastic decline in recent weeks as actress Danielle prepares to leave the BBC One soap after more than a decade.

Despite her condition, the hairdresser has been adamant on working at Fox & Hare but with her health deteriorating, she’s been forced to take her leave from the salon.

Next week on BBC One, Kim Fox (Tameka Empson) organises a leaving karaoke party for Lola.

Sadly, Lola becomes overwhelmed by the events of the day, particularly as Kim struggles to find a karaoke machine.

She secretly retreats outside, leaving Denise Fox (Diane Parish) Honey Mitchell (Emma Barton) and Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth) to realise that she’s gone missing.

The trio of women panic when they fail to find her and Jay Brown (Jamie Borthwick) soon joins the search with Billy Mitchell (Perry Fenwick).

Billy eventually finds a confused Lola on the floor outside the gym and she begins to panic when her speech and mobility are both impaired.

A weakened Lola wakes up in hospital with Ben, Jay and Billy at her side and she’s soon told the heart-breaking news that her palliative chemotherapy treatment hasn’t worked.

Fully aware that Lola’s time is quickly running out, Jay breaks her out of the hospital in later scenes with the idea of enjoying a fun-filled day at the seaside.

But how will it play out on our screens?
