Emmerdale fans convinced Belle Dingle will fall pregnant with Ellis Chapman’s baby

EMMERDALE fans are convinced Belle Dingle will fall pregnant with Ellis Chapman’s baby.

The ITV’s 50th Anniversary is on the horizon, and bosses have confirmed a new baby will arrive for one of the characters just in time for the celebrations.

It’s left fans pondering who the mum-to-be is, and now some have concluded it will be Belle (Eden Taylor-Draper).

The character has embarked on a relationship with Ellis (Aaron Anthony) recently, but with the news that Aaron has quit the soap, Emmerdale viewers think Belle will find out she is pregnant just as he leaves the village.

Taking to Twitter, one fan wrote: “If Belle gets pregnant, then I hope they don’t ignore her mental health issues.”

Another added: “Belle? Ellis is on his way out. They seem to be rekindling things. Is Ellis about to die as Belle gets pregnant?!”

A third tweeted: “Yes I’m here for Belle getting pregnant she needs another storyline and she will make an amazing mum.”

Emmerdale will celebrate its 50th Anniversary in October, and during a recent press event, executive producer Jane Hudson said: “There will be a new baby arriving in Emmerdale before the end of the year.

“I think that’s not giving anything away as there are so many female characters in the show, but there will be a new arrival before the year is out.

“There’s probably going to be a birth in the anniversary month perhaps!

“Babies in soaps are either born on programme celebrations or Christmas so there’s going to be one of those happening.”

The Celeb Report revealed last month that Aaron was leaving his role as Ellis after a race probe was launched against two of the soap’s biggest stars.

A source told us: “Aaron is bitterly angry about this situation and he has had to be persuaded to come back to Leeds to film his scenes in recent months.

“He has done some filming over the last couple of weeks, but the understanding is that those scenes will be his last.

“He has been very vocal in his opinions about the allegations and about the way in which the enquiries have been handled by the bosses. He now feels his position on the show is untenable.”

Emmerdale airs on ITV and is available on ITVHub.
