MACKENZIE Boyd left the Dales in a heartbroken hurry after Charity Dingle refused to fully commit to him.
Emmerdale viewers were in hysterics when his plan for public revenge on her failed as his audience was limited.
ITV viewers saw Moira Barton (portrayed by Natalie J. Robb) and her brother Mackenzie (Lawrence Robb) get revenge on Charity (Emma Atkins) when tuning in to last night’s instalment of the long-running soap.
It all began when Moira lured Charity into her vehicle before leaving her stranded in the wilderness outside of Penrith after confronting her about almost kissing her former flame, Vanessa Woodfield.
While she was ready to walk all the way back to the eponymous village, the pub landlady was eventually picked up by Mackenzie, who decided to return to Emmerdale.
But as it turned out, the siblings’ plan was far from over as Mackenzie drove Charity to her pub – where Vanessa was spotted grabbing a drink and chatting to Chas Dingle.

Knowing nothing good could come out of her staying in the pub following recent events, Vanessa tried to wriggle her way out of The Woolpack but Mackenzie did all that he could to make her stay.
After Moira joined them, he publicly confronted and humiliated the pair, revealing he knew all about their near-kiss – and fans were in stitches.
In their eyes, Mackenzie and Moira’s plan ended in a fail as The Woolpack was practically empty, therefore leaving only a small audience to witness Vanessa and Charity “public” scolding.
“I would hardly call that a public humiliation considering their was about 4 other people their and it wasn’t even humiliating but ok”, one viewer commented on Twitter.
Another followed up with: “To publicly humiliate, the pub was hardly full to the brim, was it.”
A third chimed in, adding a crying laughing emoji: “how to publicly humiliate someone according to Mackenzie: shout at the landlord with the only people present, your sister and her ex.”
“‘Publicly humiliated’ in an empty pub!”, another social media user mocked.
Mackenzie came back to the Dales after Charity called him when she realised Moira had no intention of driving back with her.
Moira even left her purse and her phone on the side of Main Street in Emmerdale as she was leaving with Charity – and Vanessa was left to find the items.
Begging him to come back to the village, Charity was put on blast by numerous soap fans who believe they can see right through her.
“Watch Charity beg Vanessa again in the next 12 hours”, one of them commented.
